UK – based carton manufacturer, Simply Cartons Ltd, supply leading food and cosmetic brands and Supermarkets with a range of decorated primary packaging cartons.

At their Nottingham UK factory, they have installed a complete corrugated box making system from BCS aimed to improve production efficiency, reduce storage space and save costs.

The equipment enables custom sized shippers to be produced in house, on a true JIT basis. Instead of having to stock a wide range of different box sizes, the BCS system enables custom sized shippers to be produced from a single size of stock corrugated sheet.

Craig Matthews, Managing Director of Simply Cartons said “we never seemed to have the correct shippers in stock and found ourselves at times, having to store completed orders in totes instead of being able to ship them. Now we always have boxes when we need them and have seen an improvement in gluer efficiency with a welcomed freeing up of valuable storage space. The BCS kit is easy to use and is contributing to eliminating bottle necks in our conversion department”
